Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
We take another early game drive to look for predators who usually hunt early morning. If we are lucky enough we might see a kill. We go back to the lodge for breakfast before continuing our journey to Naabi Hill Gate and on towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After lunch and some rest at your lodge we we take a walking safari on the Northern Crater Rim of Ngorongoro Crater which is inhabited by buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys and different species of birds. Dinner and overnight is spent at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge in the Ngorongoro conservation area.

After breakfast we drive down into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. It is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa's densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare African black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. You can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.
