This safari takes into the game parks in the north of Tanzania followed by a Zanzibar beach holiday. In the Serengeti you will be staying in a mobile tented camp. These camps move through the southern, central and northern Serengeti every couple of months, in areas of great wildlife concentration following the famous wildebeest migration. These are small, intimate camps in carefully positioned locations. It is the perfect Hemingway experience, luxury under canvas. After the safari it is time to relax on the stunning beaches of Zanzibar Island.
Day 1
Arrival Day
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by your driver~guide and be driven to Arusha for a hot shower, hot late dinner and overnight at the famous Arusha Hotel.
Day 2
Arusha and Lake Manyara National Park
In the morning after breakfast you will meet your tour guide for a briefing about your safari. The day follows with a transfer to Lake Manyara National Park in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Upon arriving in the late morning we take a game drive around the Lake Manyara National Park. In the afternoon you will transferred to the lodge for hot lunch rest and relaxation. After a rest and some relaxation you will have another afternoon game drive in the park exploring what you might have missed earlier. Upon arriving at the luxury, Kirurumu tented lodge you may opt for a hot shower, refreshments and thereafter dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater
In the morning after breakfast you will meet your driver guide and head to the Ngorongoro crater gate with your picnic lunch. After normal formalities at the gate your will descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor for a day of fantastic game viewing. Your game drive will expose you to different wildlife and birdlife. Ngorongoro is one of the few safari game viewing points in Tanzania where you can spot the big five (rhino, elephant, leopard, lion and buffalo). You will have your picnic lunch at some point inside the crater floor and a short rest. A game drive will follow as you ascend the crater on your way out. Your guide will thereafter drive you to the Lemala luxury camp for a hot shower, rest, hot dinner and a pleasant overnights stay.
Days 4 to 6
Ngorongoro and the Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will head toward the Serengeti National Park via the famous Olduvai Gorge (world-famous hominid fossil site) were you will have your picnic lunch. For the next three nights you will be staying at the exclusive Serengeti mobile camp. The camp is semi permanent and moves with the animals as the migration passes up the Serengeti.
Spend your next two days exploring the famous Serengeti Plains and the abundance of wildlife it harbors. Take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day in search of the big five and the other game that make this region famous or go back to your lodge for hot lunch and then out again in the cool of the afternoon.

Days 7 to 11 Spend the next 5 days relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of Zanzibar, the Spice Island. Relax on the beach or take part in one of the many activities offered by Matemwe Bungalows. Whether you want an active holiday or just to relax, Zanzibar has something for everybody.
